“Glamor Girl”
By Derek Felix
I see you often from time to time
I’m always thinking, you’re so fine
You have a certain flair that I admire
Someone like you has a heart of fire
You dress in a way that’s really cute
It makes you look fancy as you make the loot
You’re always wearing matching outfits
Even your nails make the greatest hits
You have a way of brightening the day
Maybe that’s why I never run out of words to say
You take to compliments pretty well
It doesn’t surprise me since you’re quite swell
You show an interest in what I show you
That explains why I’ve always felt you’re cool
I know you probably look even lovelier when you go out
If I caught a glimpse of you, I’d probably scream and shout
You’re someone with exquisite taste
Like I said before, you’re authentic based
A crown jewel who stands out from the rest
You probably know by now that I think you’re the best
Fine works of art should be appreciated
It’s why you’ll never be outdated
It’s how you present yourself that I like most
You’re someone special who deserves a toast
You have a smile that’s very infectious
Along with an outlook that’s tremendous
I’ll never stop believing in you
Because deep down, you’re forever true
You don’t need me to tell you this stuff
But it’s the thought that counts that’s always enough
Your spitting image shall dance in my head
All good thoughts that woke me up from my bed
You’re so fashionable that I think you should model
You’re tall, pretty, and remind me of Genie in a bottle
You don’t need all the attention of divas in a centerfold
Because your shining star is worth its weight in gold
