It creates its own sparkle

On a beautiful evening

Into a magical spotlight

Taking center stage

It isn’t like anything else

It stands out from above

That’s its magnetic appeal

Lighting up like a candle

It paints the night sky

Into a work of art

Making its own postcard

You can photograph and send to anyone

It’ll make their day

A little brighter

Creating warm smiles

Of astonishment

The admiration

Is what makes it special

Its allure

Draws us in

Making you believe

Anything is possible

If you just stop what you’re doing

To take a closer look

It captures a unique perspective

That sticks with you

For a while

Into that other dimension

I see you on a quiet Friday

You aren’t quite yourself

Maybe you’re having a hard day

I still greet you and hope it can help

A1p while back, that was me when I first saw you

I know what it’s like to feel down

Yet your pretty smile improved my mood

At that moment, I already knew that you were true

You had a cool way about you that stood

Maybe it helped me to focus on the important stuff

Since then, my attention to detail has changed

I finally got tired of struggling and had enough

In over two months, I’ve turned the page

I know you had a dramatic effect on why

You always were so positive in our chance encounters

That infectious smile and nice personality caught my eye

It made me so glad I found you

There’s so much to say

On another bright day

There’s so much to say

That I want to tell you today

You deserve to know the truth

You’re one of those memorable dreams

Who shines through and raises the roof

I see you like a star on the movie screen

I don’t know how you would feel

If I told you how special you are

Would it even seem real

I know what I see, a true shining star

You have a way of rising above the rest

I can see your lovely sight up in the sky

That’s because you really are the best

You stand out by looking so fly

I’m left in awe of how you are

So poised with the attitude of a winner

While others are lower, you raise the bar

I’ve contemplated taking you out to dinner

Someone like you deserves the best

It’s what makes you so unique in every way

You’re so different from the rest

All I want is to make you smile and laugh on a happy day
